Terilee Dawn, Who am I?
Ever since I can remember I have loved pictures. When I was about 8 years old I remember getting two camera’s for my birthday and being so excited thinking it was the coolest thing ever. One was blue and one was neon orange. It was the 80’s. As I was growing up I loved the anticipation of dropping off that roll of film and being so excited when I picked them up. I couldn’t even wait till I was out of the store to look at them. I would then hang my favorite pictures all over my room. Capturing the people we love has become my passion. Over the years I have learned the value of an image that captures a moment or time in our lives we want to remember. I love that I have found an avenue to use my creativity.
I won’t pretend to be someone that I am not. I like just being me. And that is who I want you to be when we take photos. I want you to be you. Whether it be through the location we pick, the clothes you wear or the faces you make. The real moments are the photos that always turn out to be my favorites. I like to keep things relaxed and fun and I am always up for trying new things. It is my goal to make you as comfortable as possible while having your photos taken. I have been on the other side of the camera and know that it can be intimidating, but I promise I am not intimidating. If anything it is hanging out with some new friends and taking some photos in between.
